Bubbly

Overheard in my classroom this week during a restaurant role-play:

Me: Do you prefer sparkling or still water?

Student: I prefer champagne.

Well, you know what?

I may well need to open a bottle of something festive tonight 

& celebrate the fact that I've finally finished teaching my group of French railway dudes.

They were not my favourite class of all time.

Far from it.

Add to that snow days, major transportation problems & malfunctioning heating in our classroom

& I'm thrilled that c'est fini.

Enough said.
