Yesterday I showed you how I'd received lots of lovely birthday cards.
However,
there is one carte that needs its own post.
Whoah.
Let me explain.
FQ & I have a tradition:
we try to buy each other
the cheesiest, tackiest birthday card out there.
We've found some good ones in the past,
but this year's edition is amazing.
Just look at that yucky, fuzzy fur!
And those red, beady, uneven eyes!
That lapin is way more creepy than cute.
But that's not all!
When you open the card, "Happy Birthday" starts playing.
It's somehow tinny & high-pitched at the same time.
Yikes.
Also, please note the "Joyeux Anniversaire" light-up sign
on the inside of the card

Wow.
FQ was pretty proud of this fantastically horrid card
& I can understand why.
His birthday is in November.
Guess I should start scouring the tacky card shops in town, non?
Wow, that really is quite a bad one. I used to play this game in Australia with my old next door neighbour. The best one had bits of shiny gold over a religious scene that was incredibly poorly drawn (a Greek Christmas card - complete with Greek text neither of us understood).
