E & me {school zone}

It's back-to-school on E & me this week!

 It's easy to tell which sign is in Erin's school zone
& which one is down the street from me here in Annecy.

Those Canadian kids look more orderly than their French peers, non?
 And did you notice that the étudiants on the right
seem to have forgotten their bookbags?
Sheesh.

So speaking of back-to-school,
that's my excuse for not having blogged the last few days.

Even though I teach adults, not kids
& I work in the private sector, not at public school,
I still find myself all caught up in early-September fever.

I love my job, but after a lovely month of vacation,
I'm suddenly reminded how much energy teaching requires.

It's nearly 8 p.m. here in France.
Is it too early to go to bed?

  3. Funnily enough your Em and Me post this week made me go out and have a look what our signs are like here in England, as although I used to teach I just couldn't remember what they looked like. Ours are just like yours no bags and in a hurry too - rather amusingly.
    Oh and 8o'clock sounds like the perfect time for bed as if like here it is getting dark by that time too.
    xx
